Amoxycillin kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis by binding to target proteins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clavulanic Acid<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Inhibits beta lactamasa enzyme &amp; protect Amoxycillin from degradation. Thus, prevents resistance and increase the spectrum of antibiotic.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Indications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Upper respiratory tract infection<\/li>\n<li>Lower respiratory tract infection<\/li>\n<li>Orodental Infection<\/li>\n<li>Skin and soft tissue infection<\/li>\n<li>Urinary tract infection<\/li>\n<li>Post-surgical infections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Dosage<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Adults and children over 12 yrs.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>For mild to moderate infections:<\/strong>\u00a0375 mg T.I.D. or 625 mg B.I.D. for 5-7 days<br \/>\n<strong>For severe infections:<\/strong>\u00a0625 mg T.I.D. for 5-7 days<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Children:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>25-45 mg \/ kg \/ day (Amoxycillin content) after every 12hrs. For 5-7 days<br \/>\nIn treating resistant Streptococcus pneumonia cases 80-90 mg\/kg\/day (Amoxycillin content) BID<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Side effects:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Mild in nature.
